soon

The next days will be a busy one for me. Why? Basta lang. ...of course, my sister and her family will be arriving soon to stay for the Christmas season. Yey! Family outings? Probably.
Plus with just 30 days to go before Christmas I have not completed my gifts shopping yet. Boo!
I will most probably go on a hiatus from blogging. ...for awhile...

cat in heat

Sophie, our cat is in heat. We didn't notice it immediately not before we heard her "call." But cats in heat usually are more affectionate. Sophie is an affectionate cat so we weren't overly concerned about the excess affection she was lavishing on us. Turns out she's in heat. The funny thing is she goes into mating position a lot. Her tail up in the air and her rear raised. We all laughed when we first saw her do this but now I found out that this is a normal thing for cats in heat to do. Now we have a hard time sleeping through the night because Sophie keeps on "calling out" to male cats in the neighborhood.
Sophie is a "house cat." We don't let her out of the house. Besides she has not shown any desires of going out of the house. She's 1 year and 2 months old and we don't have any intentions of having her mate with another cat at this time. We feel she's still too young. (princess died giving birth because she's still young.)
The heat lingers for about 6 days. Good thing too for I can't take much more of her calls throughout the night.

PBB double up: game 3

This is a long overdue post. Sorry.
I don't know what they call Game 3. But here is the mechanics of the game. One player is the target that is put up on air tied with harness that the opposing team pulls so as to make it hard for the target player's teammates to hit her/him. The team with the most number of balls stuck on the target player's body wins.
Team A: target player: Johann
hitters: Cathy, Melisa, Paul Jake and Jason
pullers: Tibo and Rica
coach: Carol
Team Devious: target player: Patria
hitters: Kath, Tom, Yuri and Mariel
pullers: Hermes and Rob
coach: Patrick
Team Devious had their turn first. The balls they got: 6.
Team A went next. The balls stuck on Johann's suit: 39. Round 2 came and team A still got the higher number of balls. 22 versus 38. Obviously team Devious had a long way to go to be able to win the game. When round 3 came they did not get enough balls to win. With team A having won games 1 and 2, they are undoubtedly the winners of the week's task.
That is when Tom lost control. He punched the wall numerous time. The game was called off. And Tom was sent to the confession room.
